Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Specialist to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of our data across systems. The role involves monitoring data processes, identifying issues, developing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall data quality and governance.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Monitor, audit, and validate data in systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
* Develop and implement data quality rules, metrics, and validation checks.
* Identify root causes of data errors and collaborate with business/IT teams to resolve them.
* Create reports and dashboards to track and communicate data quality performance.
* Document and maintain data quality standards, guidelines, and best practices.
* Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects by ensuring high data accuracy.
* Partner with data governance teams to align with enterprise-wide data management strategies.
* Provide training or guidance to stakeholders on data entry and quality processes.

### **Qualifications & Skills**

* Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
* Proven experience in a data quality, data analyst, or data governance role.
* Strong understanding of data management concepts, databases, and ETL processes.
* Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra, Alteryx).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
* High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

### **Working Conditions**

* Office-based or hybrid, depending on company policy.
* May involve collaboration across multiple departments and time zones.
* Standard business hours with occasional overtime for project deadlines.
