Data/Business Analyst
Remote Opportunity
Contract-6 Months+
Domain Expertise
Pharmacy and PBM knowledge, including claims data, COB, payers, rebates, and discounts.
Familiarity with pharmacy-related financial analysis and ROI calculations.
Technical Skills
Strong SQL (Postgres) ability to work with large, complex queries (e.g., 2,000+ lines).
Experience with denormalized data and JSONB fields in Postgres, including navigating multi-level and variable JSON structures.
Python proficiency (for extracts, data analysis) preferred.
SAS knowledge is a plus but not required.
Analytical & Communication Skills
Translate stakeholder requirements (often clinical/claims-focused) into actionable technical work.
Troubleshoot data anomalies and perform deep-dive analysis.
Create tabular formats for BI teams from complex raw data.
Comfort working in a high-paced, high-visibility environment.
Must be U.S.-based due to HIPAA compliance and data access security policies.
Role Expectations:
Balance between technical data work and stakeholder engagement (~50% of time in meetings).
Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to escalate or defer to senior team members.
Support multiple products, though initial focus likely on Prism.
Ongoing need for complex data analysis - not a one-time project.
