Pre-Construction Services
Location: Shreveport, LA
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000/year DOE

We are seeking a Pre-Construction Services Professional to join a growing construction team in Shreveport, LA. This role plays a vital part in the planning, coordination, and support of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the initial concept through execution.

Primary Duties

• Conduct pre-bid site visits and assist in scope development
• Gather and compare vendor pricing
• Coordinate subcontractor walks and communication
• Prepare cost estimates and project proposals
• Develop submittals, samples, and project plans
• Review and mark up drawings
• Maintain and organize project documents
• Support operations and provide field assistance as needed

Secondary Duties

• Assist project management with subcontract processing, RFIs, and material orders
• Support change management processes
• Prepare and submit permits

Qualifications & Core Competencies

• Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; Adobe Acrobat (or similar software, training available)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and perform takeoffs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Strong writing and math skills
• Positive, coachable, and team-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
