Position: Tax Analyst/Tax Accountant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Tax Analyst/Tax Accountant to join our team. This role involves performing account reconciliations, processing business license renewals, and managing tax compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with tax return preparation or business license compliance. Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations.
• Process business license renewals.
• Update historical and current business license data.
• Possibly handle E911 tax compliance, including matching and mailing tax returns with tax checks.

Qualifications:

• Accounting background with at least 2 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.
• Experience processing vendor payments, including checks.
• Proficiency in general ledger account reconciliations.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, with high proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with tax return preparation or business license compliance is a plus.

Pay Range: $32 - $34

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
