This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in managing and optimizing an organization’s financial operations. The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger activities, financial reporting, and compliance, providing critical support for strategic decision-making. Operating in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial processes. Accountabilities:

• Prepare and post general ledger transactions accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain and organize sub-ledger transaction files for all assigned areas.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze monthly expense fluctuations and provide detailed explanations to management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Perform research, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with technology; experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Process improvement mindset, adaptability, accountability, and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and contribute to continuous improvements.
